Summer Camp 2008
Join Arts ‘n Motion for a summer full of fun. We’ve taken our most popular classes and rolled them together to create awesome adventures in the arts to motivate, educate and inspire all young artists. Whether you like to sing, dance, paint, act or put on a show, we have it all at Arts ‘n Motion. In addition to our own friendly staff, we will welcome special guests and talented professional artists to add to our programs throughout the summer. Our pre school campers should bring a light snack to enjoy during their half day camp while our older campers should pack a lunch to enjoy mid-day. Before and after care is available for our full day campers if needed. In addition to our camps, we will also be offering a mini summer session where we will offer a variety of classes, including dance, music, creative movement and art. June 16—20 - Princess Petite-Princess of the Castle
9am—12:00 Ages 3 –6 $125
Our princess ballerina petite camp is for the smallest of princesses. Campers will twirl into beautiful petite ballerina princesses with arts ‘n crafts, enchanting ballet stories, dress-up, ballerina rehearsals, and so much more. We will have an end-of-week gala performance to showcase the Princess’ learning.

June 23—27 - The Sky’s the Limit Art Camp
9am—1pm Ages 6—10 $160 (incl. supplies)
It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s a rocket….well, whatever it is, it’s in the sky and there is no limit to what we will create in this fantastic art camp. End of the week art show will showcase camper’s creations.
June 30—July 3 - Celebrate America
9am—12:00 Ages 3 –5 $100 9am—3:30pm Ages 6—11 $150
Come sing, dance and create art to pay tribute to our great country, America. We’ll explore good ‘ol American traditions, foods and songs.
July 7—11 - Dance Mania
9am—12:00 Ages 3 –5 $125 9am—3:30pm Ages 6—11 $185
Dance is all the rage at this fun-filled camp. We’ll dance ‘till our hearts content to today’s popular (but appropriate) music, including favorites such as High School Musical and Hannah Montana. We’ll try hip hop, jazz, tap and much more. Put on your boogie shoes and join us!
July 14—18 - Zoo-pendous Revue
9am—12:00 Ages 3 –5 $125
We’ll dance and sing all the way through the zoo during this camp. We’ll visit the monkeys, the giraffes, the elephants and much more as we put on our show-stopping performance. A special visit from the Baltimore Zoo will keep us entertained.
July 14—18 - Animal Adventures in Art Art Camp
9am—1pm Ages 6—11 $160 (incl. supplies) 1:30—4:30 Ages 4—6 $135 (incl. supplies)
Young artists will discover the animal world through drawing, painting and sculpting. A variety of media, including paint, pastels and clay will allow artists to explore their artistic ambitions. Students will also become familiar with the work of master artists. End of the week art show will showcase camper’s creations.

American Idol, here we come! Do you have what it takes to be a star? Come and find out at this energetic camp. You’ll even get your hands on the Walk of Fame! Our singing, dancing, spectacular end-of-week revue will show off our talents.
July 28—August 1 - Welcome to the Met Art Camp
9am—1pm Ages 6—10 $160 (incl. supplies)
Explore the famous Metropolitan Museum of Art in this camp focusing on using a variety of different materials to create masterpieces like those of famous artists. End of the week art show will showcase camper’s creations.
July 28—August 1 - Princess Ballerina—Cinderella

August 4—8 - Teddy Bear Picnic
9am—12:00 Ages 3 –5 $125
Bring along your favorite Teddy Bear and enjoy this camp together as we sing songs, make crafts and dance and play the day away.
AUGUST 4—8 - Dancing Around the World
9am—3:30pm Ages 6—11 $185
Pack your bags! We’re dancing our way around the world in this camp. We’ll have fun visiting various countries around the globe. We’ll have an end-of-camp showcase to perform all that we learned throughout the week. A culturally diverse time not to be missed.
August 11—15 - That’s Entertainment!
9am—12:00 Ages 4 –6 $125 9am—3:30pm Ages 7—11 $185
Dance, sing and act your way through the week as we learn songs and dances from popular movie musicals and Broadway shows. We’ll learn about famous dancers and singers and learn how to put on a show of our own complete with costumes and make up. End of the week performance to showoff our skills.
August 18—22 - Dance Intensive
9am—3:30pm Ages 6+ $250
*Arts ‘n Motion Dance Company Members and/or dancers with at least 2 years experience in ballet, tap and jazz
Before and After Care
Before Care (available all weeks) 7:30am—9am $50/wk
After Care (available for full day 9 – 3:30 campers only) 3:30pm—5pm $50/wk
Summer Camp Policies
All campers must be potty-trained. No exceptions and No pull-ups, please! $75 non-refundable deposit PER CAMP is due at registration. Balances are due by May 31st, 2008 to remain registered in camp. We offer sibling discounts and multiple camp discounts. Save 10% when enrolling in more than one camp and/or when enrolling more than one child. . Refunds or credits cannot be given for early dismissal, late arrival, illness, injury, or vacations in any camps. Arts ‘n Motion reserves the right to cancel any camp due to low enrollment with a full refund offered to those who may be registered. Before care and after care are available, however, children must be registered to attend. Children dropped off 15 prior to camp or picked up 15 after camp are required to be registered for before or after care will be charged $10 for drop-in childcare.
